Global 4 becomes first UK distributor for Citodent’s VisiQuick dental imaging software

Global 4 is revolutionising imaging for UK dental practices with industry-leading European software in this new strategic move.

Global 4, a leading managed service provider in the UK, is proud to announce a landmark partnership with European dental software provider, Citodent. The agreement marks the first UK distribution deal for Citodent’s renowned VisiQuick imaging software, bringing the solution to both independent dental practices and larger dental service organisations (DSOs) across the country.

This strategic move is set to reshape the digital landscape for UK dental businesses by offering seamless, harmonised imaging integration within a trusted managed service framework.

A European leader enters the UK market

Citodent is already a household name among dental professionals across Europe, with more than 3,500 practices relying on its VisiQuick platform to streamline imaging operations. With proven compatibility across all major imaging equipment, the software enables dental teams to manage and access patient images more efficiently, whether they choose an on-premises setup or a cloud-based deployment.

The decision to bring VisiQuick to the UK was heavily influenced by demand from European-owned DSOs operating here, many of whom specifically requested Citodent’s entry into the market. Notably, these organisations named Global 4 as their preferred distribution partner, recognising the company’s deep understanding of the dental sector and its commitment to service excellence.

A strategic fit with Global 4’s managed service offering

The distribution agreement not only provides UK dental businesses with access to VisiQuick but also integrates the software into Global 4’s comprehensive managed service wrap, a suite of solutions designed to support the unique needs of dental practices. From hosted telephony and IT support to cyber security and energy procurement, Global 4 already delivers a wide range of business-critical services to the healthcare sector. The addition of VisiQuick further strengthens this portfolio, offering practices a single, streamlined point of contact for both software and support.

Carl Barnett, CEO of Global 4, commented: ‘We’re incredibly proud to bring VisiQuick to the UK as Citodent’s first distribution partner. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to the dental industry, not just as a technology provider, but as a true business partner focused on helping practices run more efficiently, securely, and profitably. VisiQuick is a fantastic addition to our managed service offering, and we’re excited to see the impact it will make.’

Harmonised imaging for modern practice

At the heart of VisiQuick’s appeal is its ability to unify and manage images from a wide range of imaging systems, removing the inefficiencies and complications of running multiple, disconnected software tools. With both on-premises and cloud-based deployment options, the platform provides flexibility for practices of all sizes and technical requirements.

This harmonisation is especially beneficial for DSOs seeking to maintain consistency across multi-site operations. By standardising image workflows and making patient data easily accessible across locations, VisiQuick supports both clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

Supporting growth and innovation in UK dentistry

The introduction of VisiQuick under the Global 4 banner reflects a broader trend in UK dentistry: the move towards fully integrated technology ecosystems. Practices are increasingly looking for ways to consolidate vendors, reduce administrative overheads, and ensure compliance, all while delivering better outcomes for patients.

Through this partnership, Global 4 and Citodent are offering dental businesses a compelling way to do just that. The ability to combine imaging software with managed IT, telephony, and compliance-ready infrastructure not only saves time and money, it also positions practices to scale more confidently in an increasingly digital-first healthcare environment.
